Hey guys!!
Hope you have all been well! I thought I would share a little of what I have been doing lately at course. At the moment we are doing period make up.

Here is my 1920s. This included eyebrow blocking! This was also a Black and White assessment so that mean it took alot of contouring!

This is my 1940s/WW2 make up! For this assessment we had to create a black eye and a scar. Unfortunately you can't see the scar, but i will put the photo of me with the same make up on so you can see the scar! I also did the hair! Doesn't it look so cool?!

This is my 1980s make up! The inspiration came from Madonna and we had a lot of fun creating and shooting this look. I also did the hair. Love the eyes. Coming up this week is the 1960s!

Check out the photo of me with 1940s/WW2 make up in the next blog!
Until next time lovelies x

What's in my handbag?

For my first post I would like to do a "What's in my handbag?" so you guys can get to know me a little better! So lets get started

First thing I want to show you is my handbag itself!
This is my gorgeous Royal Blue handbag i got from Cotton On, it has a long strap for over the shoulder wear. It has one big pocket on the inside and a small pocket for a cellphone. It also has a little zip pocket. Surprisingly this bag fits soo much stuff in it and it was an absolute steal for $10.00!

So the next thing is an obvious essential item. This is my purse!
This purse I got from Equip in one of there big yearly sales. It was a steal at $7.50 (it was reduced from $29.00!!). I love the big clasps as it gives it that something extra.

I always have a small variety of Make Up in my handbag for those times when you need to do touch ups
I always have a hand cream with me and at the moment my favourite is Dr Lewinn's Essentials Hand and Nail Cream. This version is pink as it is supporting Breast Cancer (a great reason to buy!) it smells amazing and is so hydrating i couldn't be without it! I am in LOVE with the new range of Karen Murrell lipsticks that we are stocking at work. They contain no nastys, paraben free and the canister is made from biodegradeable materials. I have it in Violet Mousse and I'm loving it. I always have two liquid eyeliners, so i can have one at home and then one smaller one in my handbag for touch ups. For me, what makes a good eyeliner is the depth of the colour, how well it goes on and stays on and I always look at them from a price perspective as well. Thats why I love Australis Intensifeye Liquid Eyeliner in Black. The applicator is great and very easy to use. It stays on all day (and is even quite tough to get off at night!) I find it drys quickly and doesn't crack or crumble. I always carry some foundation. At the moment I am loving Australis Powder Cream Make Up. It comes in a cake form with a small sponge, it goes on smoothly and makes your skin look flawless with very little product. I have it in Nude Beige and from a pricing point it is great value only costing around $25.00. Perfume! For the Christmas just been my Mum got me a box of the trial sized Calvin Klein perfumes! They are gorgeous and are lasting me such a long time! I have the Euphoria that I spritz on before I leave the house and the Eternity sits in my handbag but is definately my fav!

Lastly I thought I would include a few essentials that are ALWAYS in my handbag. I always have a blue pen (with studying its nice to have one handy!), I always have a packet of Eclipse Mints, the green is my favourite and these generally last me about a month. And some Ibuprofen, always great to have incase of a headache.

I hope you guys have enjoyed my post. If there is anything you would like me to blog about please comment me and Ill do the best I can to make it happen! I will be doing a video soon on how I apply my make up so keep an eye out for that!

Until next time, Nicole x
